In the forging industry, the circular economy is crucial for minimizing environmental impacts. At FRISA, we emphasize the responsible use and reuse of materials within our production cycle, reintegrating them as needed.
We have established a circularity circuit that repurposes waste from our operations as raw materials for our products. Typically, the main types of waste we generate include process scrap, metallic waste from machinery known as ‘swarf’, and process steel slag, all of which are reused as by-products in our own processes.
Our Circular Economy Commitments
Efficiency in Production Processes
We strive to reduce waste generation by enhancing the efficiency of our production processes.
Waste Valorization
We aim to increase the treatment rate of waste to prolong its useful life.
Sustainable Raw Materials
We are committed to increasing the use of recycled raw materials and decreasing the reliance on virgin raw materials.
Currently, 90% of our waste is recycled, either within our facilities or externally.
Technological Equipment
Decantation Process
We are investing in new technologies for the circular economy, including equipment designed to compact the swarf produced during our manufacturing processes.
